Diode Testing Machine

This machine is designed for testing the stripe packed diodes having 5mm pitch for their leakage current at the rated PIV voltage.

The machine comprises of a motorized bucket conveyor with 5 mm pitch and slip ring type arrangement for applying the voltage to the diode during its propulsion, the Electronic Controller is designed for generating the fixed regulated dc voltages (3 nos.) 100, 400, 1000 Volts.

The electronic controller has digital voltage & microamp Indication.

The controller has a precision Leakage Current Detection arrangement where by a leakage current as low as 3 & 5 microamp is detected and conveyor is stopped as soon as diode under test draws a leakage current higher than 3 or 5 microamp. Buzzer sounds to indicate faulty diode. The Conveyor & controller are mounted on the same chassis.

Motor - AC Synchronous.
Testing speed - 3 diodes per sec.
Testing Voltages [selectable] - 100/400/1000V DC
Leakage Current Selection - 3 Or 5 microamps.

Additional Accessories & Attachments -

10 mm pitched bucket replaceable to 5 mm pitched bucket suitable for testing 1N 5408 TYPE Diodes will be supplied at extra cost .
The existing machine is suitable for rectangular sized diodes packing box and not for circular role type packing so the circular packing handling arm will be supplied at extra cost.
